Sahra Perretz-Rosales

My work as a therapist has evolved out of my search for common ground between lifelong interests of mine - psychology, neurobiology, social systems, and spiritual or religious mysticism. As a young person I spent 7 months in a Buddhist monastery in Japan. Psychology and neurobiology helped me understand my experience with meditation, and somatic approaches like EMDR and Reiki have helped me bring the benefit of that experience to my clients.

I have a Masters in Social Work from the University of Washington and have worked with a variety of populations, including incarcerated young people, teen mothers, and middle and high school students, mostly from immigrant, BIPOC and Spanish-speaking families. I am proud to be a Spanish speaker of Argentine heritage.
